Gigiri United Riders Community Based Organisation (GUR-CBO)

Gigiri United Riders Community Based Organisation (GUR-CBO) brings together boda boda riders in Gigiri and the surrounding areas of Nairobi County, Kenya. We exist to unite and empower riders and to promote their welfare and socio-economic development, for the benefit of our members and the wider community.

We are guided by integrity, accountability, transparency, unity and fairness.

What we do

• Welfare support and mutual assistance for members
• Savings, table banking and responsible loan programmes
• Investment and entrepreneurship
• Financial literacy, business skills and leadership training
• Road safety awareness and responsible riding
• Community development, environmental conservation and charity
• Partnerships with government agencies and other organisations
